We are no longer selling on-line tickets for our Burns Night Supper.

Dear Member and friends,

 

You are warmly invited to join us for a traditional Burns Supper at Tyrrells Wood Golf Club, to celebrate the life and poetry of Scotland’s national bard, Robert Burns.

The evening will feature:

 

  • Drinks available from the bar from 7:00 pm

  • The piping in of the haggis and the famous Address to the Haggis from 7:30 pm onwards

  • Dinner served at 8:00pm - Traditional Scottish fare, including haggis, neeps, and tatties. A delicious vegetarian haggis alternative will be available – please choose when buying your ticket(s).

  • Scotch Whisky Tasting

  • The Craigievar Ceildh Band with Caller for Scottish Country Dancing.

  • Recital of Scots Songs by soprano Sophie-Jane Dale

  • Raffle and auction in aid of Scotscare – a charity helping homeless Scots in London

  • Auld Lang Syne

The dress code for the evening is 'smart with a touch of tartan’. Traditional Scottish dress would be welcome.

 

On arrival you will have the opportunity to purchase wine for your table at a special place set aside for sales.
