Calling it out - Liz Schooley of Danceon with Shep & Co – gearing up for Ashtead Village Day.
The Band and caller Liz, have performed at venues around the UK with Shep well known for his brand of country and western music.
On Saturday 14th June at the 40th Anniversary Special of Ashtead Village Day, Liz and “Shep & Co will be offering some heel tappin’, boot scootin’ country music which is guaranteed to get you on your feet. With some fun routines and great live music, everyone can join in our country hoedown.”
The barn and line dancing will be complemented with Cold Bandersnatch and his Wild West Extravaganza – a display of Western style cowboy horsemanship that bound to get hearts a poundin’
And alongside the horsemanship and musicianship it’ll be time to dust off your boots and saddle up for our Wild West Fancy Dress Competition as well as our Treasure Hunt!
Bring out your best Western gear and show us your imagination—from rugged outlaws to charming saloon girls, fearless sheriffs to adventurous prospectors! Whether you're young or old, this competition is for everyone who loves the Wild West spirit.
